Join OlyFed and The Youth Connection as we host a special financial education class and account opening event for young adults, every third Tuesday of the month. OlyFed’s team of knowledgeable and caring bankers will be on site to answer questions and open accounts. This is a great opportunity to gain insights into how you can build stronger financial habits and make confident money decisions.
The event will begin at 3 p.m. with a short financial wellness presentation. The remainder of the event, from approximately 3:30-6:00 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to ask our bankers questions and walk through the account opening process.
To open an account, please bring two forms of ID to open an account. A driver’s license or government issued photo ID (passport) will work for primary identification purposes and a birth certificate will work for a secondary ID. In addition, you will need your social security number to open an account.

- An interest rate of 0.05% will be paid only for that portion of your daily balance that is greater than $10,000.00. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range from 4.13% to 0.46%, depending on the balance in the account.
- If your daily balance is $10,000.00 or less, the interest rate paid on the entire balance will be 4.00% with an annual percentage yield of 4.13%*.
- If your account does not have the required activity noted below* an interest rate of 0.05% will be paid on the entire balance. The annual percentage yield for the entire balance will be 0.05%, depending on the balance in the account.
*Premium rate requires monthly direct deposit of $500 or more, debit card activation and 10 debit transactions posted per statement cycle, and signing up to receive eStatements. One account per Social Security Number. Minimum $100.00 to open an account. Fees may reduce earnings, and rate may change after account opening.
