Lindsey Bamba Named OlyFed Employee of the Quarter

Olympia Federal Savings (OlyFed) is proud to announce Lindsey Bamba, Vice President, Retail Banking Manager as Employee of the Quarter.

Selected by her peers, Lindsey is recognized for her exceptional leadership, commitment to employee development and meaningful contributions to OlyFed’s success.

Lindsey has built a reputation as a leader who brings out the best in others. She creates strong teams by helping employees step into bigger roles, celebrating their successes and connecting the work they do today to their long-term career goals. She creates opportunities for learning and growth, encouraging branch managers and assistant branch managers to serve on committees designed to stretch their abilities, build confidence and broaden their organizational knowledge.

During the first quarter, Lindsey helped launch an employee survey that achieved an impressive 98% participation rate and generated valuable feedback on products and services, systems and processes and ideas for enhancing customer experience. She also helped initiate a customer survey and assembled a cross-functional team to evaluate the customer onboarding experience, identifying opportunities to improve referrals practices, follow-up and the manual processes used across different areas of the organization.

Lindsey fosters an inclusive environment where employees feel heard, valued and supported, building strong relationships across the Association and strengthening OlyFed’s collaborative culture. She also recognized an opportunity to support OlyFed’s Digital team by leading a challenge to increase employee knowledge of digital products and services. Lindsey manages multiple complex projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality. She consistently supports her team, helping them reduce stress and create stability during periods of change. She can spot signs of stress early and encourages a healthy work-life balance. Throughout the first quarter, Lindsey spent much of her time working directly in branches, supporting daily operations and ensuring teams had the resources they needed to succeed. Her efforts strengthen the employee and customer experience, helping OlyFed better serve the communities we call home.

“Lindsey represents what it means to be a leader ” said Josh Deck, President and CEO. She advocates for her teams to have the tools and resources they need to be successful and builds strong trust by being honest, steady and approachable.”

Please join us in congratulating Lindsey on this well-deserved recognition!
