Jennifer Johnson, West Olympia Customer Service Representative
Jennifer Johnson joins our West Olympia branch as a Customer Service Representative. Originally from Seattle, Jenn recently relocated to Olympia to be near family. Before joining OlyFed, she was a small business owner and hairstylist where she gained firsthand insight into the importance of understanding customers’ needs and providing personalized service. Jenn is excited to bring her skills to OlyFed as she begins her career in banking and helps customers navigate their financial needs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks and reinventing old family recipes.
Mattie Juarez, Lacey Customer Service Representative
Mattie Juarez joins our Lacey branch as a Customer Service Representative bringing seven years of banking experience from several different states. Her extensive banking background gives her a strong understanding of the products, services and day-to-day needs that are important to customers. Mattie is also a native Spanish speaker, allowing her to connect with and serve a broader range of customer. A fun fact about Mattie: She was raised in part by a lion trainer and grew up around large snakes and other exotic animals!
Lisa Mowrey, Loan Closer
Lisa Mowrey joins the Loan Origination Department as a Loan Closer. Lisa’s previous work experience includes 27 years working for title insurance companies in King County. Her extensive background in title insurance gives her a deep understanding of the details and processes involved in her role and provides valuable knowledge to OlyFed’s Loan Origination team. Outside of work, Lisa loves traveling to white sand beaches and turquoise sea waters, having visited most of the beach towns along both coasts of Mexico. She also owns a roadster convertible named Rhonda, a nod to her dad’s favorite band, the Beach Boys.
Mathew Taylor, Tumwater Universal Banker
Mathew Taylor joins our Tumwater branch team as a Universal Banker, bringing more than two years of banking experience and over 10 years in customer service and sales. His background has helped him build strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, allowing him to understand customers’ needs and provide dependable support. His combination of banking and customer service experience will be a valuable asset to OlyFed. Outside of work, Mat enjoys golfing, rooting for our Mariners and Seahawks, playing games, camping and spending time outdoors.
Ben Gurrad, Lacey Float Customer Service Representative
Ben Gurrad joins the Lacey branch team as a Float Customer Service Representative, bringing a diverse background in communications, web project management, customer service and experience in the financial industry. His combination of financial services and customer-facing experience gives him a strong foundation for helping customers and supporting teams across our branches. Originally from Longview, Washington, Ben has called the Olympia area home for the past 16 years. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two children, attending live music, Sounders and Mariners games and all things Disney.
