Dana joined OlyFed in August 2021 as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at the Tumwater branch and was promoted to Universal Banker just a few months later in December 2021. Her professionalism, dedication to exemplary service and passion for helping others earned her a promotion to Assistant Branch Manager in January 2024 and Assistant Branch Manager II in April 2026.
Dana leads with both tenacity and compassion, consistently going the extra mile to support her customers, colleagues and community. Her commitment to excellence has earned her multiple internal values awards. In 2025, she was recognized as Employee of the Quarter for her exceptional leadership and impact across the Association.
“She takes the time to get to know people personally,” said Josh Deck, President & CEO. “Whether supporting our customers, mentoring colleagues or engaging with our community, Dana’s relationship-focused approach inspires confidence and collaboration.”
Beyond the branch, Dana enjoys painting, caring for her growing collection of plants, spending time with her cats and exploring the outdoors. Her appreciation for local marine life, especially geoducks, was inspired by her parents and their careers. She is also an avid collector of frog trinkets and loves adding new finds to her collection wherever she travels.
Fun fact about Dana: she loves all things pickle-flavored. In fact, the Tumwater branch break room is almost always stocked with pickle potato chips — a nod to her enthusiasm for the tangy snack.
