McCallum Rock Drilling Banking Proposal
Powered by OlyFed
OlyFed is honored and excited to submit a proposal to partner with McCallum Rock Drilling to help power the business’ finances to deepen community impact and strengthen the business’ long-term success. With a proud tradition of excellence built on a solid reputation of precision, safety and results; McCallum and OlyFed share similar values and a passion for supporting it’s highly trained employees so they can deliver on advancing their clients goals and projects in meaningful ways.
Family owned for decades, McCallum is about putting people first and getting the job done right the first time. OlyFed is 120 year-old mutual bank, accountable to its customers and not shareholders and we have earned 149 straight quarters of a five-star rating from Bauer Financial, an independent rating agency. Only 1% of the nation’s banks have earned Bauer’s top rating for so long and with such consistency.
Just as McCallum places great emphasis on integrity, reliability and making our community a better place to live., OlyFed is similarly focused on leadership and character development to ensure we remain 100% committed to doing the right thing, celebrating successes and taking care of those who take care of us. We believe this potential partnership will have a tremendously positive impact for McCallum and beyond into the community.

What OlyFed has to Offer
OlyFed has been in our community for 120 years, dedicated to the mutual success of the people and communities we serve. We are responsible to our customers and pride ourselves in giving back, which in real terms is more than $2 million in grants and sponsorships in the last five years.
Our giving comes in multiple forms, from financial support to volunteer efforts (more than 1,500 employee volunteer hours last year). From Financial Education in classrooms to an affordable home loan program that helps community members earning 80% or less of median income realize the dream and benefits of homeownership. We are committed to that partnership and seeing sustained success for all stakeholders.
Since opening our Chehalis Branch six months ago, we’ve already supported more than 15 local community organizations with donations surpassing $30,0000. Organizations supported include: United Way of Lewis County, Chehalis Foundation, Visiting Nurses Foundation, Lewis County Footsteps of Hope, Lewis County Food Bank, The Forgotten Children’s Fund, Boys & Girls Clubs of Lewis County, Discover Children’s Museum, Raise for Rowyn, Lewis County Economic Alliance, Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, Experience Chehalis, Chehalis Farmers Market, Centralia Downtown Association, Centralia College Foundation, The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound, Habitat for Humanity and more.

Lending Support for Future Growth
We recognize Pope John Paul II High School is looking to grow and serve more students and families with an interest in the future of building a larger campus facility with space to provide more academic, athletic and extracurricular activities and programs. We are a partner that can provide financing support as you look to begin a capital project and fundraising effort. Our team has a number of lending solutions and expertise to help.
Support for Classroom Learning
Integrated into this partnership is a financial education program that provides direct support for classroom learning opportunities. Our curriculum is customized to meet student and faculty needs, and classroom presentations provide students with insight into subjects such as budgeting, investing, saving, account security, managing credit, taxes, insurance, entrepreneurship, and more. These topics are covered by financial professionals from OlyFed, who are happy to be regular guest presenters. Students who complete the program are better prepared for life beyond high school and have resume-ready skills and knowledge that will help open the door to future education and employment opportunities.
OlyFed's School Affinity Card Program
Part of OlyFed’s give-back strategy is it’s School Affinity Card program where it will design Pope John Paul II High School branded debit cards and every time the card is used, two cents will be donated to the school’s ASB Fund or another fund of it’s choice. Furthermore, for the first three years of this program, OlyFed commits to choosing one month out of the year to give two cents to Pope John Paul High School II for half of all our customers’ debit card transactions. This will result in a minimum contribution of $1,500 to the school. The Affinity Card program not only provides needed financial support for student activities, it also provides a fun and creative way for students, teachers, parents, administrators, alumni and community members to show their Eagle pride while out shopping, dining and recreating in the community. It’s a fun and creative way to come together and support education in our hometown.
