This year, the YWCA of Olympia is celebrating 80 years of service. We are honored beyond words to have served our community for so long and although we are navigating unprecedented times, volunteers have come forward to make sure that as long as we are around, our annual Women of Achievement celebration and fundraiser can still occur – so thank you helpers!!
This year, on top of such an astounding landmark anniversary, we are proud to be hosting our 31st annual Women of Achievement celebration on Saturday, October 11th, 2025 at the YWCA Olympia, Friendship Hall. This will be a more intimate event, so make sure to get your tickets early!
The YWCA of Olympia Women of Achievement award is a prestigious honor that seeks to acknowledge the incredible work that the women, youth, and local businesses or organizations of our community offer to the South Sound area, and who live and embody our mission to eliminate racism and sexism, advance the political, social and economic status of all women and girls, and embody our vision of a world where all people are valued, live free from oppression, and thrive in a just society.
