The Sustainable Steps EcoTour is a free self-guided tour of sustainable, green-built, and adapted homes, farms, businesses, and organizations throughout the Olympia area.

Self-Guided EcoTour

Visit an array of sites from a Passive new build and ADU to a backup battery-powered Solar Homestead and talk to the creative minds behind each. Tour sites include The Artisan Group’s new office, The Habitat Store, an ADU site, Capstone Solar and South Sound Solar projects, PNW Homes Group RE office outdoor permaculture project and others.

In-Person Expo

Be sure to stop in at the Sustainable Steps EXPO at the Percival Landing Pavilion from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, which will showcase booths from local sustainability-focused businesses and organizations. Learn about sustainable options for your life and home, as well as community plans to help make Olympia a healthier, happier, and more eco-friendly place to live and thrive!

This is a grassroots event planned, hosted, and funded by a cooperative effort of local green building and sustainable living stewards.
