This week many of you received year-end tax statements with incorrect information. We sincerely apologize for these errors, and we have notified our technology partner about these issues, and they are working diligently to resolve and rectify them.
We have identified that all of our tax statements are showing an incorrect phone number for Olympia Federal Savings. Additionally, we have identified that certain 1098 Mortgage Interest Statements and 1099R IRA Statements may contain some additional misinformation.
We recognize this is a time sensitive issue, as this information is needed to accurately complete and file your taxes. This is a high-priority issue and we’ve been reassured that new and accurate statements will be mailed out very soon.
In the meantime, rest assured that the records of your accounts in our system are correct and if you need your information more immediately, you can contact us and one of our trusted team members can assist you.
Please know your business, trust and belief in OlyFed is what we cherish and honor most. Rightfully so, we understand your frustration and we take full responsibility. Our entire team is grateful for your patience and understanding as we work through these many unforeseen issues related to our recent core system conversion.
We are 100% committed to excellence in all we do, which includes ensuring that our new core banking platform performs in the way that we expected. We will continue to hold our third-party partner accountable to these necessary fixes until our new system operates as it should.
I want to express my sincerest apologies for any inconveniences and troubles this system conversion may have caused. For 116 years we’ve been committed to you, living our word and to always doing the right thing. We are devoted to unwaveringly carrying out these values, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us for help in answering your questions or addressing any of your concerns.
