Less than two months into her new role on the Accounting team, the department was down a team member during a busy audit period. Without hesitation, Sierra stepped up to manage the responsibilities of two positions, balancing her own learning curve while ensuring critical work stayed on track. Soon after, Sierra once again rose to the occasion to help train a new colleague while continuing to excel in her own role. Her ability to lead, adapt and stay composed under pressure is a testament to her strong work ethic and natural leadership.
Beyond mastering her day-to-day responsibilities, Sierra has also been instrumental in streamlining internal processes, developing clear procedures and identifying thoughtful improvements that make her department more efficient and effective. She is also a member of the bank’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) committee and a dedicated community volunteer, having logged more than 36 hours of service this fiscal year. Whether at work or in the community, she consistently embodies OlyFed’s values.
“Sierra brings so many talents to OlyFed,” Josh Deck, President & CEO said. “She’s not only strengthened her team operations but also elevated the spirit of collaboration across the department. We are so grateful for the example she sets every day.”
