Sue Martinez Retiring After 17 Years of Service

After 17 years at OlyFed, Customer Service Representative Sue Martinez is retiring at the end of this month! Sue joined OlyFed in December of 2004 and she has worked at three different branches and has been a pillar at our Yelm Highway Branch since 2010.

Sue’s bright smile, kind demeanor and positive personality combined with her knowledgeable, thoughtful and timely support have made her such a valuable resource to our customers and community over the years. Sue’s dedication to excellence has been recognized on many occasions as she’s been the recipient of our Employee of the Quarter award, Kris Fischer Customer Service Award, and our Wow the Customer Award as well.

Sue plans to be very busy in retirement. She is kicking it off with a road trip, visiting family and friends in Oregon and California, with sightseeing adventures along with way. She recently welcomed two new puppies into their household, which will also keep her on her toes! For the last few years, Sue has been very involved with Cross Creek Alpaca Rescue, and in retirement, she’s excited to be able to spend more time helping at the farm.
