Raina Nitz Named OlyFed Employee of the Quarter

Olympia Federal Savings is proud to announce Raina Nitz, Assistant Branch Manager with the Downtown Olympia Branch, as Employee of the Quarter.

Raina in downtown Olympia WANitz, who has been in her role just little over a year, was a driving force behind the success of the downtown branch during one of the most challenging times in the history of the organization. In fact, this past year Raina stepped up to take on the IRA/HSA retirement specialist work right in the midst of tax season, while also learning all of the reporting, daily work, forms and necessary documentation to help the branch meet all of its regulatory obligations, responsibilities and year-end goals.

Raina has quickly become an in-house product and service expert, receiving many internal and external customer inquiries when it comes to complicated and/or specialized transaction assistance. Her support comes in so many different forms; from running the drive-thru and training new employees to staying late to ensure everyone else gets out on time, even when she had to be at work early to open the branch.

One example of Raina’s incredible customer service skills is when she helped one of our customers, who is a single mom having a difficult time finding a job, secure an interview with a local business that lead to an employment offer. Another time, a customer’s car died in the parking lot and Raina provided a jumpstart for their car battery.

“Raina lives our OlyFed values every day through her servant leadership,” Lori Drummond, President & CEO said. “Raina is a trusted source of knowledge with a kind, caring and generous heart that puts others first and I am glad we can honor all of her contributions and accomplishments with this award.”
