Lori Drummond Receptionist

In 1984, so many great things were happening in the world. Ghostbusters was the number one movie, Prince released the hit song Purple Rain, the Summer Olympics were held in Los Angeles, the maiden flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery launched from Kennedy Space Center, and Miami Vice was the number one TV show and by no coincidence, pastel blazers were all the rage. Even better, that same year, Lori began her career as the bank’s Receptionist.

While more than 38 years have passed, Lori’s shared values with OlyFed have remained consistent in putting people first. In every position, Lori has moved OlyFed’s mission forward in serving our customers, community and her fellow colleagues.

Leadership at OlyFed is service based, looking at the needs of others and with a positive, caring and can do attitude, executing on strategies to do what’s right when it comes to the well-being of others.

This might be standing up and sharing new ideas for systems and processes that make us more efficient and effective or going the extra mile to meet the financial or quality-of-life needs of others. It’s having the vision to see opportunities for improvement and having the courage and heart to step forward with questions, suggestions, thoughts, plans and the kindness to ensure OlyFed and our people have every chance to thrive and belong to a community that lifts others up.OlyFed President, CEO Lori Drummund

Lori has exemplified this kind of leadership in every capacity during her 38 years here at OlyFed. In fact, Lori has amassed a long, diverse and impressive resume modeling OlyFed’s people-first values and commitment to civic involvement, serving on the board of directors for more than a dozen organizations from Saint Martin’s University and Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County to the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. Lori’s kind and caring heart have left an indelible mark on our Thurston & Mason County communities that will have a positive impact for generations to come.
