Lauren began her OlyFed career in January 2016 as a Customer Service Representative at the West Olympia branch before being promoted to Universal Banker in April 2017 at the Tumwater branch. Just over a year later, she stepped into the role of Assistant Branch Manager at the Downtown branch, and in January 2020, she transitioned into her current role as Training Coordinator, where her passion for education and development truly shines.
“Lauren plays a vital role in welcoming new team members and supporting ongoing learning across the organization,” Josh Deck, President & CEO said. “She helps ensure that OlyFed employees have the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to provide exceptional service to our customers. We are grateful for the impact she has made across our branches and teams.”
Lauren’s path at OlyFed reflects her drive to continually learn and take on new challenges. She has received several internal core value awards in her 10 years for her commitment to lifelong learning, community involvement and her consistent care for both customers and coworkers. She was even named Employee of the Quarter in 2021 the way she steps up to support every area of the bank.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lauren brings creativity and fun to everything she does. One fun fact about Lauren is that she has sung and performed at Carnegie Hall! While her maiden name, Ingersoll, frequently sparks questions about a connection to Ingersoll Stadium, there is no relation. She is also known for her creativity at home, from hilarious Halloween costumes to imaginative scenarios and unforgettable birthday parties for her children.
