Kirsten Tate Named Employee of the Quarter

We are proud to announce Kirsten Tate, Hawks Prairie Assistant Branch Manager, as Employee of the Quarter.

Woman at Nisqually Nature PreserveKirsten stepped up in an extraordinary way over the past several months, serving as the acting leader of our Hawks Prairie branch during a time of transition. Having been in her role as Assistant Branch Manager for only a matter of months, she demonstrated remarkable resilience, professionalism and heart; embracing the leadership opportunity.

Under Kirsten’s guidance, Hawk Prairie didn’t just maintain operations – it thrived. She upheld the high standards our customers expect while nurturing a team culture rooted in development and collaboration.

Her commitment to mentorship was evident with the addition of the bank’s first WorkEx Intern (a career transition program for U.S. service members), Maribel, joining her team. Kirsten made significant investments in Maribel’s professional growth, making her internship a deeply rewarding and impactful experience.

Beyond Hawks Prairie, Kirsten’s influence extends across the Association. She is an active participant in OlyFed’s Better Fedder culture-building initiatives and a go-to resource for fellow employees. Her unique ability to balance focus with fun fosters an environment where both employees and customers feel valued and connected.

Customers frequently share how Kirsten brightens their day, with many citing her personal attention and warm, genuine conversations as reasons they love banking with us.

“Kirsten exemplifies the very best of OlyFed—leading with heart, inspiring through action and caring deeply for her team, her community and our customers,” Josh Deck, President & CEO said. “Her dedication and leadership are truly exceptional, and we’re proud to celebrate her as our Employee of the Quarter.”

Please join us in congratulating Kirsten on this well-deserved recognition.
