Katie began her OlyFed career as Receptionist in January 2010 before moving to a Customer Service Representative position at the Yelm Highway branch in October 2011. In June 2012, she was promoted to Lead CSR and moved to the Hawks Prairie branch where she was promoted to Savings and Retirement Specialist in September 2016. Katie moved to Digital Services Support Representative in February 2018 serving the growing number of customers doing their banking online and in April 2021, she was promoted to Digital Services Support Representative II.

Throughout her 15-year career with OlyFed, Katie has been honored with numerous internal value awards for her exemplary customer service, dedication to always doing the right thing and her commitment to lifelong learning. In fact, she was recognized in 2017 with the Kris Fischer Excellence in Customer Service Award, OlyFed’s highest level of distinction for customer service. Always looking to sharpen her skills, Katie has earned several certifications. In 2017, she became a Certified IRA Specialist (CIS) and Certified Health Savings Professional (CHSP), and in 2020, she became a Certified Electronic Banking Officer.

Katie is an Excel whiz! She can do anything in Excel and loves a good spreadsheet, often being called upon by her colleagues for this skill. Outside of work, Katie loves True Crime but also enjoys watching real court trials. She has a daughter who is named after the American Girl doll, Molly McIntire, and even still has her original Molly doll!
