Your OlyFed

Say Hello to Our New OlyFedders

This past quarter we were pleased to welcome four new OlyFedders to our family of caring bankers. These individuals bring a multitude of talents, skills and tremendous personal values to our team and we’re excited to introduce them to you:

Sheila Ponder, Accounting Assistant

Sheila Ponder joins the Accounting team as an Accounting Assistant. She recently moved to the area from Georgia and has years of prior Accounts Payable and Receivable experience. She enjoys doing 5K walks to help raise awareness for cancer and supporting St. Jude Foundation. In her free time, Sheila enjoys traveling, shopping, going to concerts, movies and spending time with family and friends. Join us in welcoming Sheila to the OlyFed family!

Kendall Thompson, Universal Operations Assistant

Kendall Thompson joins the Operations team as a Universal Operations Assistant. Kendall has worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and is excited to start a new career path with OlyFed. She has five brothers and a sister, all 17 years apart, and is a mother of two teenagers. She loves to sing, read and watch movies. Cooking is her happy place. Kendall enjoys playing volleyball and softball, meeting new people and taking on new challenges. Please join us in welcoming Kendall to the OlyFed family!

Art Drayton, Universal Banker

Art Drayton joins the Tumwater branch as a Universal Banker. Art has worked in sales for over five years and is excited to make a career change into banking. A fun fact about Art is that he has eight siblings, so he is no stranger to sharing or working together. If he isn’t at home spending time with his five cats and watching TV, he can be found hiking or longboarding with friends. Join us in welcoming Art to the OlyFed family!

Kelsey Cooper, Loan Closer

Kelsey Cooper joins the Loan Origination team as a Loan Closer. Kelsey has over five years of experience working in Title, most recently as an Escrow Closer. She was born and raised in a rural part of northern Michigan before moving with her dog to Washington in 2016 after visiting twice and falling in love with the PNW. She now lives with her husband Zach, their dog Grizzly, two cats Meatball and Bunny and a few chickens! She enjoys baking, cooking, traveling and relaxing with a good cup of coffee or glass of wine. She and her husband also enjoy playing lots of video games. Please join us in welcoming Kelsey to the OlyFed family!
