Carrie Whisler Named Chief Credit Officer

Olympia Federal Savings (OlyFed) is pleased to announce the promotion of Carrie Whisler to Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Credit Officer (CCO).

Carrie joined OlyFed in 2015 as the bank’s first Commercial Relationship Manager and has been the driving force behind the organization’s small business banking success over the past five years.

She has been a trailblazer in helping the bank’s business and commercial department grow through building connections in the community, providing insight and expertise to local entrepreneurs and leadership in enhancing the culture at OlyFed.

Recently, Carrie played an instrumental role in helping 100 local businesses with Payment Protection Program (PPP) loans through the Small Business Administration (SBA) and she made valuable contributions to the organization’s just launched digital banking platform.

A graduate with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Martin’s University, Carrie is Chair of the Board with the Thurston County Economic Development Council (EDC) and she also serves on the South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) Foundation Board.

“We are so fortunate to have someone with Carrie’s talents, skills and caring heart here at OlyFed,” Lori Drummond, President and CEO said. “We look forward to the many contributions Carrie will make as part of our executive team.”
