Thurston County Food Bank is committed to ensuring that children in our community have access to nutritious food and support. Our key programs include:
FORKids: Providing 2,000 meals per week to students to take home over the weekend during the school year.
Summer Lunch: Serving over 3,700 lunches last summer to children who rely on school meals during the academic year.
School Gardens: Offering access to nutritious food, educating students on food systems and nutrition, and supporting school gardens, especially in schools with high enrollment in free-and-reduced lunch programs.
