Come Celebrate Bigs, Brunch and Mentorship Breakthroughs: BIG Brunch on March 18, 2026

Since 1904, the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization has worked to give kids nationwide a caring role model. On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Southwest Washington chapter will host their annual Big Brunch at Saint Martin’s University. This is a fun, free, delicious chance to learn about their impact, how to volunteer or ways of becoming a valued community partner.
WHAT TO EXPECT
From national leadership to local branches like the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington, their vision is simple and empowering: helping all youth achieve their full potential. Blake Knoblauch, director of development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington, explains that March’s informative meal is one of the organization’s two annual fundraisers.
“Our Big Brunch is a way for the people to come together to learn about our impacts. You’ll hear stories from both Bigs and Littles and see how it’s shaped them into who they are today.”
Our local chapter represents families in Thurston, Mason, Pacific, Lewis and Grays Harbor counties. They have 22 sites in 12 cities pairing Bigs, the adult mentors, with Littles, kids aged 5 through 18.
Brunch runs from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18. It will be held in the Norman Worthington Conference Center at Saint Martin’s University. There is plenty of free parking at the adjacent Marcus Pavilion, rain or shine.
