Just one year after joining, Sue’s hard work and dedication earned her a promotion to part-time Administrative Assistant. By 2006, her role transitioned to full-time, allowing her to have an even greater impact on our operations. Sue’s knowledge and expertise in managing our facilities were unparalleled, and in 2008, she was promoted to Administrative Assistant II, where she took on the vital responsibility of overseeing OlyFed’s facility needs. With her unique ability to tackle any problem, Sue would often arrive at a facility issue with a smile, jokingly declaring, “Sue at your Survis,” before effortlessly resolving the challenge.
Beyond her technical skills, Sue has always been a shining example of leadership and friendship. She has a deep care for her colleagues, and anyone who has had the privilege of working with her knows she is not just a resource, but also a trusted friend. Her dedication to our team and our mission of improving the quality of life for all of our neighbors is evident in everything she does. Sue’s commitment has earned her the respect and admiration of everyone she’s worked with.
Throughout her career, Sue has been recognized for her exceptional service, earning the title of Employee of the Quarter twice and receiving the prestigious Kris Fischer Excellence in Customer Service Award. These accolades are just a small reflection of the lasting impact she’s made at OlyFed.
While Sue will undoubtedly be missed, her retirement is well-deserved, and we are all excited to see what new adventures lie ahead for her. Sue, thank you for your years of unwavering service, for the warmth and kindness you’ve brought to the team and for the countless ways you’ve helped shape OlyFed into what it is today. Your legacy of leadership, friendship and dedication will always be a part of OlyFed’s story.
