Getting to Know Ashley & Khassidy!

Khassidy Russell, Assistant Branch Manager

With more than eight years of experience in the financial services industry, Khassidy joined our Hawks Prairie team as Assistant Branch Manager in September of 2020. Khassidy loves traveling with her family and friends, has lived in six different states and believes Lays Potato Chips are superior to all others! Here’s how Khassidy answered some of our getting know you questions:

What do you love most about working at OlyFed?

It’s difficult to choose, but I’ll have to go with the true appreciation for employees shown by upper management/executive team. Our voices are heard, our ideas are appreciated, and diversity is celebrated.

If you were stranded on an island what three items would you bring?

A great pilot, a good plane, and some delicious snacks for the trip home!

If you found a magic lantern and a genie gave you three wishes what would you wish for?

World peace, eliminating disease and enough wealth for all.

What was your favorite vacation ever?

A Sister trip to Waikiki. Fun adventures coupled with just enough relaxation, and the weather was magnificent. A trip we’ll never forget.

If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Tacos!

Ashley Knauf, Accounting Assistant

Ashley joined our Accounting team in March and graduated in 2020 from Washington State University. Ashley played the alto saxophone for eight years and enjoys doing puzzles, paint by number paintings and playing games. Here are Ashley’s responses to some of our fun questions:

What do you love most about working at OlyFed?

The people I work with and the culture OlyFed has created. It is a great feeling to know that everyone here has your back, supports you, and is kind to each other.

Stop comparing yourself to others and start focusing on being better than you were the day before.

What Book Has Influenced You Greatly? How?

Harry Potter because it taught me that “happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” – Albus Dumbledore.
