Abby began her OlyFed career as a Customer Service Representative at the Downtown Olympia branch in August 2004. A quick study, she was promoted less than a year later to Loan Servicing Assistant and in April 2007, promoted again to Customer Service/Sales Trainer. Abby’s hard work and dedication were recognized in April 2017 when she was promoted to Learning and Development Specialist and in August 2018 she became an officer of the bank with her promotion to AVP/Learning & Development Manager.
Abby’s impact on OlyFed extends far beyond her job title. She has been instrumental in shaping the company culture into one of inclusivity and exceptional service through her leadership on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) and Better Fedder Committees.
Her many contributions have not gone unnoticed. Abby has been honored with numerous internal awards including Employee of the Quarter and the prestigious Kris Fischer Excellence in Customer Service Award. These accolades are a testament to her exceptional work ethic and unwavering commitment to OlyFed.
“Abby’s creativity and compassionate leadership are evident in everything she does,” Josh Deck, President & CEO said. “She is incredibly hardworking and goes above and beyond to be of service to her fellow OlyFedders, customers and community.”
Outside of the office, Abby enjoys the simple pleasures of life. She’s an avid gardener, loves a good road trip (as long as someone else is driving) and enjoys creating lasting memories with family and friends. A fun fact about Abby is that she is an archery master who has crafted her own bows and arrows.
