Bret Bajema joined OlyFed in December 2017 as an Assistant Branch Manager at the Hawks Prairie branch. Due to his experience, leadership and positive attitude, Bret was promoted to his current role as the Hawks Prairie Branch Manager in August 2020.

In recognition of his hard work and dedication to his customers and his team, Bret has received several internal corporate value awards. In 2021, he received the well-deserved honor of being named Employee of the Quarter. He was chosen by his peers for the honor because of his character, impact and for stepping up time and time again to care for his colleagues, customers and community.

“Bret’s calm demeanor and many years of industry experience make him a strong leader and mentor,” Josh Deck, President and CEO said. “His team can always count on him to lend a helping hand or word of encouragement.”

When he’s not at work, Bret enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. He has two kids that keep him busy with their many extracurricular activities. His son is a very talented wrestler on his high school team.

A fun fact about Bret is that he grew up in Hawaii and still has family that lives there. Currently, Bret is in the beginning stages of building a home on a piece of land he purchased last year.
