October 2022 Calendar

On October 17, OlyFed will be launching a new core banking system that will provide a number of behind-the-scenes upgrades that will allow us to continue our tradition of excellence in customer service, while ensuring we have the tools, added security and flexibility to provide the latest banking technology far into the future.
Because this upgrade is significant it will have some short, temporary impacts on our operations as we convert systems.
To make certain you are aware of these upcoming changes and some of their effects on our products, services and support, we have created an outline below of what you can expect so you can prepare in advance.

Key Dates & What to Expect

Journey Checking

Since we will be operating under two different systems during the month of October, all customers with Journey Checking accounts will receive the premium interest for the month without having to meet the minimum account requirements.

Consumer Protection

As we gear up for our core conversion, please know that our digital banking system will remain the same and there will not be a new look to our online and mobile banking platform. Please know that your passwords and pins will transfer and will not need to be reinstated. We will not be sending out emails and/or text messages asking you security questions or for personal account information.

As a reminder, we also will not be calling you and asking for customer information. We share all these details to help protect you from any possible phishing attempts by individuals with fraudulent intents. Should you every have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

October 2022 CalendarDigital & Telephone Banking

OlyFed’s online and mobile banking system, along with our telephone banking system, will be unavailable beginning the evening of Friday, October 14 through the morning of Monday, October 17 as we transition from our existing core banking system to our new operating platform. We share this so that you can plan to take care of your banking needs either prior to or after the conversion process.

October 2022 CalendarTransfers & Bill Pay

As a result of the conversion from one system to the other, both internal and external transfers, along with Bill Pay will be unavailable starting the evening of Friday, October 14 through the morning of Monday, October 17.

If you have transfers or electronic bill payments scheduled during this time, we highly recommend you develop alternative plans to take care of those transfers, either prior to or after the conversion based on your specific needs or requirements.

If you have any automatic OlyFed loan payments scheduled during this time, your payments will take place after the conversion.

ATM Access

As we transition to our new core system between Friday, October 14 through Monday, October 17, ATMs will be available; however, current balances will not. If you need to know your current balance prior to the conversion period, please be sure to print a statement from online banking or visit any one of our eight branch locations and one of our helpful bankers can print one for you.

October 2022 CalendarMobile Deposit

As part of the conversion process, Mobile Deposit will not be available beginning the evening of October 14 through October 17; however, deposits can still be made 24/7 through the Night Drops and ATMs at any one of OlyFed’s eight convenient branch locations.

Account & Loan Statements

As we close out of our existing core banking system, all deposit and consumer loan customers will receive account statements with a period ending on Friday, October 14. Customers will also receive a second October statement at the end of the month from our new core banking system, which will provide details on account activities taking place between October 17 through October 31.

With this change, customers will have a new and more efficient way of accessing their eStatements through Digital Banking. More details to come soon.

Intuit/Quicken Users

Users of Intuit Quicken/QuickBooks are encouraged to download their history prior to the close of business on Friday, October 7 to ensure you have all your documentation before the switch to our new core banking system.

We deeply appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we make these changes. When the new system is up and running, it will take a few days for our new core banking platform and QuickBooks to sync. We expect that the systems will be synced by Tuesday, October 25.

October 2022 CalendarBeginning Monday, October 17, our team of OlyFedders will be utilizing a completely new computer system and while our bankers have been diligently preparing and training for this transition, we ask for your patience and support as they adapt to a different user experience.

During the first week of operations with the new system, our technology partners will be providing onsite expert assistance to help our team members navigate through a new interface. This means you will probably see some fresh faces behind our teller lines and workstations as they help our team members maneuver through the new system.

As we adjust and familiarize ourselves with the new system, we ask for your patience and understanding as it may take a little longer than normal for us to complete transactions, search for information or help open new accounts.
